I wanted to start this blog when we first arrived at the farm, mostly as a record of what we have achieved as it’s so easy to forget what happened and when. Of course, since June 2019, everything has moved so fast and the time has flown by. I regret that I didn’t start writing in my diary earlier, but there’s nothing I can do about that so I’m starting now in February 2023.
Hopefully this page will give you a feel for what life is like for all of us here and that you can see how passionate we are about our farm and, in particular, our precious animals. We feel so lucky to have them in our lives; each and every one of them is truly loved, even when they’re being idiots (looking at you Sultan, you big goofball).

- New Year. New Babies. Jan – July 2024
Happy New Year! It was an emotional start to 2024 but we were delighted to have found such a wonderful family to buy some of the goats. In the Springtime we had lots more new babies to look forward to and a delightful surprise event too. Find out what happened and the names of our new kids! - Glamour of Goat Farming. May – Dec 2023
Finally, I’ve had a couple of spare hours to transfer my diary scribblings into a blog. This one picks up where the previous one left off and goes right through to the end of 2023. There have been some new additions, sad losses and big changes this year. All being well, 2024 will see lots more new arrivals! - Kidding Season. Feb – April 2023
Dear Diary. It’s Day 1 in the Magnifique Mohair diary. Finished hand sorting the remaining fleeces from the August 2022 shearing of the ‘Tinies’ (this is our name for the babies born in 2022 whose names all start with T. Not sure what we’re going to call this year’s babies, maybe Ultra Tinies?!)
