Our goats are registered with CapGenes, and the fleeces of the breeding animals are analysed – we can share those results if you are interested.

(For information, CapGenes is a French organisation which maintains genetic records for goats, as well as performance indicators such as fleece weights, greasiness, fibre grade, etc., for each breeding animal. These criteria are integrated into each goat’s family statistics.)

We regularly test our herd for brucellosis, for CAEV, Q fever and for paratuberculosis (Johne’s Disease).

If you are starting a herd, we can help to provide guidance or, if you are already established, we can work with you to identify suitable animals in order to strengthen or to diversify your herd.
